I can not express how much I wanted to take so many plants and flowers home with me in my suitcase. Amazing!!! some super tall some picky and not so nice to touch and others so colorful. My favorite were what I call my fox tails... I have no idea what they really where but I fell in love with them.

I have always been a fan of architecture but I think I am sheltered from many of the great buildings of the world. Green Bay, WI is great and all but the buildings are lacking interest and beauty and for the most part were built to serve a purpose and never look good. California topped the charts with amazing buildings. They used different shapes and textures it was great to look at them all. I still question how they can even build some of the one's I seen but truly appreciate the work that went into these great pieces of work.

Doors to some people might just be a door, but to me it is a preview of what secrets might be hiding behind. Its the first impression someone makes before they even enter your house, or place of business. I loved this door and the bright blue paint. At times I wonder what was behind it but for now I think my imagination is having way  to much fun not knowing.

I found this photo before I found some city lights, and I had to share it. I thought it was the most amazing plant coming from such a small source but I bet it has taken a very long time to grow and cover so much area. The pink and the yellow worked so well together too. Next time I will have to go inside this place for sure.

I love where I live even though I hate winter Clay has began to show me different fun activity's to make me appreciate all the different seasons. California however has the best of both worlds, great weather almost all the time.  I am a sandals girl and would much rather leave the hats and mittens boxed up for good. Here you have the option to take a short drive to the beach or to the snowy mountains, not to many places you have that luxury. Did I forgot to mention the palm trees, o how do I love them so much. I would take palm trees any day over pine trees.

I loved all the bright vibrant colors in LA, but even with this said there was something special about this  artist. These paintings were by far my favorite and I loved how they covered the whole block. It was really neat to stand in the middle of the intersection and see all his work at once.

Met this awesome photographer that was so nice. Just seeing his studio simple but had all the essentials needed he inspired me to take my own studio up a notch. I just purchased my new Alien Bee's before taking this trip. I thought I had spent a lot of money until I looked this bad  boy up. I now know I am even more honored to have seen this awesome light and now even more fun I can watch his great creations knowing some of the magic behind the shot. Even though my photos of myself in LA are limited :) I have this special memory of having some fun on my bridges, after almost jumping out of a moving vehicle and way to many U turns thanks to my friend she was able to capture this shot for me to remember LA with. Thank You

LA in 1 day 4 a year: My trip to LA!!!! day 7

When I first spoke of going to California I do not even know if I myself believed I would be going, but it sure was a pleasant thought in the back of my mind. Then I decided one day that I was going to do it and the excitement grew. Here is the first sight I seen. If you look way in the foreground you can see the Hollywood sign.

Beer... well lets just say I do not drink much beer, I have been trying to do so more lately because I have cut soda out of my diet and when I can not find my trusty Mikes Hard Lemonade I just feel clueless on what else to order at the bar. Well this place only had soda or beer and I was really craving a drink so I had to be brave and try something new. I had no idea what to order because I couldn't even say the beer names let alone know how they would taste. I went with something fruity because I love fruit and to my surprise I loved  it! So a special thank you to my friend for bringing me to this place because life is all about trying new things and this was something out of the box for me, now I just have to find out where I can get some more. :)

Ahhh!!!! I have fallen behind already, I will make sure I punish myself later, but right now first thing is first I must get caught up so I owe everyone 4 days worth of posting. I will never fall behind again or at least I sure hope not.

While I was down in LA even though there were millions of things to look at I fell in love with the bridges. The structure and design of them and how when you were on the first one you could see every other one, great perspective and then to top it off you could see the mountains in the back ground. So over the next year  you will see quite a few of the bridge photos. Here is a special one because I love how birds look when they are on electrical wire, and this was one of the amazing light posts that went across the entire bridge.

 I also wanted to share the different effect with the black and white. I almost feel like the color photo was a happy feeling and the black and white is almost a eerie feeling, something how just an effect can make a photo give off a different feeling.

Hidden in the crazy lights and brightly painted buildings was this amazing place. I ran around so quickly trying to capture everything and hurry back to where my friend was waiting for me. As quick as it was I will never forget the beauty it had.

 Seven, the one that started it all
I wanted to say a special thank you Seven and to his mom for finding me on Facebook and being the reason I got to see so many amazing sights while I was down visiting LA. Keep it up Seven :)

My trip to LA!!!! day 2

My friend took me to see the lights of downtown right after the Lakers game. Most people were only seeing the tail lights I am sure, because we moved about an inch every few minutes. If you can look past all this and see what else is there to enjoy then your my kind of person. You have to find beauty in everything and in every moment because you never know when that could be your last viewing. Even if it is of a bunch of tail lights and all you want to do is get out of traffic, at least be glad your able to enjoy being stuck in traffic. On the flip side you could be on the sidewalk walking without the means to drive. So instead of wishing sometimes for something, try to enjoy what is right in front of you.

I wanted to show everyone the beauty I found on my trip to LA. It was a fast trip I pretty much seen everything in one day but took as many photos as I could and now would like to share them all with you. I will pick a new favorite everyday and post it for all to see, please let me know what you think. Some photos have more meaning then others and with this I will share my story. For today to start this off I just want to put a simple photo on that starts this project off.
